In order to better target “foodies” and grow our social media following on Twitter, we sponsored a Twitter chat called #FoodieChats on November 10, 2014. The theme “Entertaining with Cheese” guided the conversation, which was housed on Twitter with additional promotion on Facebook and Instagram.
The results? Over 4,000 tweets were sent during the Twitter chat, we had 376 contributors in the conversation and 2 million impressions, we gained 340 new Twitter followers and 150 new Instagram followers and achieved a lead that eventually scored us a spot on Fox & Friends.
